Pitchie Escarment is a lifelong public servant, community advocate, and respected leader who has dedicated more than two decades to strengthening families, uplifting communities, and advancing justice throughout Miami-Dade County and across the Haitian diaspora. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Pitchie is the proud daughter of Haitian Immigrants whose sacrifice and resilience shaped her commitment to service. From an early age, she understood that advocacy, education, and civic participation are powerful tools for transformation and she has spent her life putting those values into action. With more than 20 years of service in the public sector, Pitchie Escarment has built a distinguished career rooted in governance, accountability, and community protection. She has served on the Miami Gardens Nuisance Abatement Board, where she played a critical role in addressing quality-of-life issues, public safety concerns, and community stabilization efforts through policy-driven oversight. As State President of Haiti Diaspora 360, she has led statewide advocacy and coordination efforts amplifying diaspora voices in public policy, civic engagement, and international affairs. Her philanthropic leadership has been equally impactful partnering with local, national, and global attorneys to elevate discourse and action around criminal justice reform and immigration policy, ensuring that directly impacted communities are represented in legal, legislative, and public forums.
Pitchie currently serves as an Elected State Committeewoman and is the President of the Democratic Haitian Caucus of Miami-Dade County, where she is widely recognized for her leadership in civic engagement, voter education, and policy advocacy. She has also served as Vice President of the Democratic Club of Miami-Dade County and as Public Relations Committee Chair for the Miami-Dade Democratic Black Caucus, amplifying community voices and strengthening political outreach. A seasoned campaign and grassroots organizer, Pitchie has worked on numerous political campaigns at the local, state, and national levels, including serving as a Field Organizer for the Harris/Walz campaign. Her grassroots experience includes voter registration, mobilization, community canvassing, and coalition building particularly within immigrant, Black, and working-class communities. Pitchie is the Executive Director of a prominent nonprofit organization founded to deliver resources, advocacy, and support to families in need. She is also the Founder and CEO of Trinity Consulting Firm, an organization committed to restorative justice, reentry services for formerly incarcerated individuals, immigration advocacy, financial literacy, and leadership development. A powerful public speaker and published author, Pitchie is a passionate champion for women and youth. She mentors women locally and globally and hosts women’s empowerment conference in Miami-Dade County, creating spaces for healing, leadership, and transformation. Her advocacy work includes extensive efforts to combat human trafficking, informed by advanced training through the St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump Center for Social Justice / FBI Human Trafficking Academy and federal law enforcement symposiums. She has partnered with attorneys, policymakers, and advocates to raise awareness and advance reforms in criminal justice and immigration law.
Pitchie’s humanitarian work has taken her across the globe, including Haiti, the Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, St. Maarten, and Zimbabwe, where she has helped establish ministries, supported immigration efforts, and provided resources such as sporting equipment to underserved youth.

She is also a Miami-Dade County Pillar Awards nominee, certified educator, emergency medical dispatcher, and former Florida Department of Corrections Employee of the Year.
An ordained minister, devoted wife, and mother of three sons, Pitchie Escarment leads with faith, compassion, and courage using her voice as a beacon of hope and her work as a bridge toward justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.
