Pitchie Escarment is a long-time public servant who has spent the last 20 years working to assist families in Dade County. She was born and raised in Miami Fl. and credits her commitment to community service to her parents who migrated to the United States from Haiti. Pitchie is a self-motivated professional with a passion for civic engagement and public service and has spent over 20 years in the public sector. She is a role model, and champion for families and youth. An inspiration for women, locally and globally, she has used her voice as a beacon of hope. She is the Executive Director of a prominent non for profit organization., an organization founded to bring resources to families in need. A much-heralded public speaker and author, she continues to empower women through mentorship and hosts a yearly empowerment conference for women in Dade County. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Institute of Wholistic Empowerment and the Miami Gardens Nuisance Abatement Committee. She is the founder and CEO of Trinity Consulting Firm, which is dedicated to assisting those previously incarcerated to re-enter society through progressive leadership, immigration reforms, financial literacy, and education. She has dedicated herself to giving back to the community through advocacy and public service and has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about human trafficking. Her philanthropic efforts have been instrumental in partnering with local and global attorneys to speak on criminal justice and immigration reforms. Her humanitarian work has taken her to various countries, including Haiti, Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, St. Maarten, and Zimbabwe. Where she worked to establish ministries, assist with immigration matters, and provide sporting equipment for underprivileged youths. She is a firm believer in education and received an Associate in Arts in Criminal Justice in 1999 from Miami-Dade College, a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration in 2000 from Florida International University, a Masters in Education and Reading Literacy in 2008 from Barry University, and A Masters in Law in 2015 from The Benjamin L. Crump Center for Social Justice at the St. Thomas University College of Law where she served as an editor for the Human Rights Law Review. She is an ordained minister, wife, and mother of three amazing boys and centers herself and her family in God.
